Question 1:

Directions: Study the following information carefully and answer the question given below:

निर्देश: निम्नलिखित जानकारी का ध्यानपूर्वक अध्ययन करें और नीचे दिए गए प्रश्न का उत्तर दें:

The following are the conditions for selection to Senior Manager – General Banking in a Bank:

किसी बैंक में वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक - सामान्य बैंकिंग के चयन के लिए निम्नलिखित शर्तें हैं:

The candidate should / उम्मीदवार को

(i) Have secured at least 60 per cent marks in Class XII. / कक्षा XII में कम से कम 60 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त करने चाहिए।

(ii) Have secured at least 55 per cent marks in Graduation in any discipline. / किसी भी विषय में स्नातक में कम से कम 55 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए हों।

(iii) Have secured at least 60 per cent marks in Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management/Economics/Statistics. / प्रबंधन/अर्थशास्त्र/सांख्यिकी में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री / डिप्लोमा में कम से कम 60 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए हों ।

(iv) Be at least 25 years and not more than 35 years as on 01-03-2010. / 01-03-2010 को कम से कम 25 वर्ष और 35 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं हों ।

(v) Have at least 2 years post-qualification work experience as General Banking Officer in a bank. / किसी बैंक में जनरल बैंकिंग अधिकारी के रूप में कम से कम 2 वर्ष का योग्यता-पश्चात कार्य अनुभव हो।

(vi) Have secured at least 40 per cent marks in the personal interview. In case of a candidate who / व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार में कम से कम 40 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए हों। ऐसे उम्मीदवार के मामले में जो

(a) Fulfills all the above conditions except (iii) above but has secured at least 60% marks in CA or ICWA, the case is to be referred to VP-Recruitment.

(क) उपरोक्त (iii) को छोड़कर उपरोक्त सभी शर्तों को पूरा करता है, लेकिन सीए या आईसीडब्ल्यूए में कम से कम 60 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त किए हैं, मामले को वीपी भर्ती के लिए भेजा जाना है।

Fulfills all the above conditions except (vi) above but has secured at least 65% marks in written test and at least 35% marks in personal interview, the case is to be referred to Chairman-Recruitment.

(ख) उपरोक्त (vi) के लेकिन लिखित परीक्षा में कम से कम 65 प्रतिशत अंक और व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार में कम से कम 35 प्रतिशत अंक प्राप्त

किए हैं, मामले को अध्यक्ष-भर्ती के लिए भेजा जाना है।

Each question is given below. Candidates are required to take one of the following courses of action on the basis of the information given to them and the conditions and sub-conditions given above and mark the number of that course of action as your answer. नीचे प्रत्येक प्रश्न में एक का विवरण दिया गया है अभ्यर्थी आपको दी गई सूचना तथा ऊपर दी गई शर्तों और उपशर्तों के आधार पर निम्नलिखित में से कोई एक कार्यवाही करनी है तथा उस कार्यवाही की संख्या को अपने उत्तर के रूप में अंकित करना है। आपको प्रत्येक प्रश्न में दी गई सूचना के अतिरिक्त कुछ भी नहीं मानना है। ये सभी सूचनाएं आपको 01-03- 2010 के अनुसार दी गई हैं।

Nita Jaiswal was born on 2 June 1980. She has been working as a Generalist Officer in a bank for the last three years after completing her postgraduate degree in Economics with 60 per cent marks. She has secured 68 per cent marks in HSC and 58 per cent marks in B.Com. She has secured 50 per cent marks in both written test and personal interview.

नीता जायसवाल का जन्म 2 जून 1980 को हुआ था। वह अर्थशास्त्र में 60 प्रतिशत अंकों के साथ स्नातकोत्तर की डिग्री पूरी करने के बाद पिछले तीन वर्षों से एक बैंक में जनरलिस्ट अधिकारी के रूप में काम कर रही हैं। उन्होंने एचएससी में 68 प्रतिशत अंक और बीकॉम में 58 प्रतिशत अंक हासिल किए हैं। उन्होंने लिखित परीक्षा और व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार दोनों में 50 प्रतिशत अंक हासिल किए हैं।
