The UGC NET Hindi Exam is a prestigious national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of the University Grants Commission to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Hindi. The syllabus covers important topics such as Hindi poetry, prose, drama, literary criticism, linguistics, Indian literature, and the history of Hindi literature from ancient to modern periods.
