| Computer-Based Test (CBT) Written Examination | The CBT is the first stage of the NCL Various Post Recruitment 2026 selection process. It consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions designed to evaluate candidates’ knowledge, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and technical/professional subjects relevant to the post. Candidates must obtain the required qualifying marks to proceed to the next stage. |
| Skill Test (Post-wise, if Applicable) | Candidates shortlisted in the CBT will be called for a Skill Test, wherever applicable. The test is conducted to assess the practical knowledge, trade skills, typing ability, driving skills, or other job-specific competencies required for the respective post. The Skill Test may be qualifying in nature or carry weightage as specified in the official notification. |
| Document Verification (DV) | Candidates who qualify the previous stages will be invited for Document Verification. They must produce original documents, including educational certificates, identity proof, age proof, caste/category certificates (if applicable), experience certificates (if required), and other relevant documents. Failure to produce valid documents may lead to cancellation of candidature. |
