RRB सेक्शन कंट्रोलर CBT इस चयन प्रक्रिया का पहला चरण है। इसमें 100 Objective-Type Questions) होंगे जिन्हें 120 मिनट में पूरा करना होगा। प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 1/3 अंक काटे जाएंगे। अगले चरण (CBAT) के लिए उम्मीदवारों को शॉर्टलिस्ट करने के लिए CBTके Normalized Score का उपयोग किया जाता है।

Normalisation of Marks:
जब भी किसी परीक्षा (CBT) का आयोजन एक ही पाठ्यक्रम के लिए कई अलग-अलग सत्रों (शिट्स) में किया जाता है, तो विभिन्न सत्रों में उम्मीदवारों द्वारा प्राप्त अंकों को शॉर्टलिस्टिंग के लिए सामान्यीकृत (Normalized) किया जाएगा।
CBAT Exam Pattern
RRB द्वारा आयोजित सेक्शन कंट्रोलर परीक्षा की भर्ती प्रक्रिया में CBAT दूसरा चरण होता है। यह परीक्षा उम्मीदवार की Mental Capability और Aptitude Skills की जांच करती है। इस परीक्षा में केवल वही उम्मीदवार बैठ सकते हैं जो पहले चरण यानी CBT को पास करके शॉर्टलिस्ट हुए हों।
