| 1 | Paper-I (Computer Based Examination – CBT) | This is the first stage of the selection process. The exam is conducted in online mode and consists of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Questions are asked from General Hindi and General English. Qualifying this paper is mandatory to move to the next stage. |
| 2 | Paper-II (Descriptive Paper) | Candidates who qualify Paper-I are shortlisted for Paper-II. This is a descriptive type examination. It tests the candidate’s Translation Ability (Hindi to English and English to Hindi) and Essay Writing Skills. |
| 3 | Final Merit List | The final selection is made based on the combined marks obtained in both Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates are selected according to their merit rank. Post and department allotment is done based on merit position and preferences submitted by the candidate. |
| 4 | Document Verification | After the final result, selected candidates undergo Document Verification (DV). Educational certificates, identity proof, category certificates, and other required documents are verified by the concerned department or organization. |
