| Selection Stage | Details |

| Written Examination | Candidates must first appear for a written examination designed to assess their knowledge, reasoning ability, general awareness, and subject-specific skills (as per the official syllabus). Only those who secure the required qualifying marks will be shortlisted for the next stage. |
| Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standards Test (PST) | Candidates who qualify in the written examination will undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST). The PET evaluates physical fitness through activities such as running or other endurance tests, while the PST verifies physical measurements like height, chest (for male candidates), and weight, as prescribed in the official notification. |
| Interview | Candidates who successfully clear the PET/PST will be called for an Interview. This stage assesses the candidate’s personality, communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities, problem-solving ability, and overall suitability for the post. |
| Document Verification (DV) | Candidates who qualify in all previous stages must appear for Document Verification. During this process, original documents related to educational qualifications, age, identity, category, domicile, and other required certificates are verified. Final selection is subject to successful verification of all documents. |
