RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories: Selection Process

StageSelection ProcessDetails
Stage 1Computer-Based Test (CBT)Candidates must appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which assesses their knowledge, reasoning ability, general awareness, language proficiency, and subject-specific skills as prescribed for the respective post. Candidates who qualify the CBT are shortlisted for the next stage.
Stage 2Skill Test / Performance Test (As Applicable)Depending on the post applied for, candidates are required to appear for the Stenography Skill Test (SST), Translation Test (TT), Performance Test (PT), or Teaching Skill Test (TST). These tests evaluate candidates’ practical skills and professional competence relevant to the post. Only qualified candidates proceed to the final stage.
Stage 3Document Verification (DV)Candidates shortlisted after the CBT and applicable Skill Test must appear for Document Verification. They are required to produce original documents related to educational qualifications, age, identity proof, category certificates, and other eligibility documents.
Stage 4Medical ExaminationAfter successful Document Verification, candidates undergo a Medical Examination to ensure they meet the prescribed medical fitness standards required for the respective post. Final selection is subject to document verification, medical fitness, and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions.

  • Visit the official website of your respective Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
  • On the homepage, click on the CEN 08/2025 – Ministerial and Isolated Categories recruitment link.
  • Select the “Download Admit Card / E-Call Letter” option.
  • Log in using your Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password.
  • After successful login, your Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  • Verify all the details, including your name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, reporting time, and examination centre.
  • Download the admit card PDF and save it for future reference.
  • Take a clear printout of the admit card and carry it along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre on the exam day.
