| Educational Qualification | Candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. For candidates registered under NATS, the graduation degree must have been completed between 01 March 2022 and 31 July 2026, as prescribed in the official notification. Additionally, candidates registered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) must have had their graduation results declared within the specified period mentioned in the notification. |
| Minimum Age | The minimum age required to apply for the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is 20 years as on 01 July 2026. Candidates below the prescribed age limit are not eligible to apply. |

| Stage 1: Online Written Test | The Online Written Test is the first stage of the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) Apprentice Recruitment 2026 selection process. The examination is conducted in online mode and consists of objective-type questions covering subjects such as General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. Candidates must secure the required qualifying marks to proceed to the next stage. |
| Stage 2: Test of Local Language | Candidates who qualify the Online Written Test are required to appear for the Test of Local Language. This stage is conducted to assess the candidate’s proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state for which they have applied. Candidates who can provide valid proof of having studied the local language at the required level may be exempted, subject to the bank’s rules. |
| Stage 3: Document Verification (DV) | Candidates who successfully clear the previous stages are called for Document Verification. During this stage, candidates must produce original documents such as educational certificates, identity proof, age proof, category certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents. Final selection is subject to successful verification of documents and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions prescribed by the bank. |
