IIT JEE Advanced Result : Eligibility
| Criterion | Requirement Details |
| 1. JEE (Main) 2026 Performance | Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2026. |
| 2. Age Limit | Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2001. (5-year relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates: born on or after October 1, 1996). |
| 3. Number of Attempts | A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. |
| 4. Appearance in Class XII | Must have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) for the first time in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. |
| 5. Earlier Admission at IITs | Candidate should not have been admitted to an IIT in the past (regardless of whether they continued the program or accepted the seat). |
IIT JEE Advanced Result : Download Process
Step 1: Visit the official JEE Advanced website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “JEE Advanced 2026 Result” link.
Step 3: Enter your Roll Number, Date of Birth, and other required login credentials.
Step 4: Fill in the security captcha code displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Click on the “Submit” or “Login” button.
Step 6: Your JEE Advanced 2026 Result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 7: Check your marks, rank, qualifying status, and other details carefully.
Step 8: Download the result/scorecard PDF to your device.
Step 9: Take a printout of the result for future reference during the JoSAA counselling and admission process.
