OR 10+2 (50%) with 4-year B.El.Ed. OR 10+2 (50%) with 4-year B.A.Ed./B. A/B.Ed. OR B.A./B.Com (50%) with B.Ed. (Special Education) OR pursuing B.Ed. with B.A./B.Com (50%).
TGT (Non-Medical)	Candidates must have: B.Sc (Non-Medical)/M.Sc (with B.Sc NM) with 50% marks and B.Ed. OR M.Sc (55%) with B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR 10+2 (Science NM) (50%) with B.El.Ed. JBT (Junior Basic Training)	Candidates must have: 10+2 (50%) with 2-year JBT/D.El.Ed. (HPBOSE or recognized) OR 10+2 (45%) with JBT/D.El.Ed. (NCTE norms). OR 10+2 (50%) with B.El.Ed. OR 10+2 (50%) with Diploma in Special Education. OR Graduation with JBT/D.El.Ed. OR PG (55%) with B.Ed.-M.Ed. OR Pursuing JBT/D.El.Ed with required qualification.
Punjabi Language Teacher	Candidates must have: B.A. with Punjabi and D.El.Ed. OR B.A. (50%) with Punjabi and B.Ed. OR B.A. (45%) with Punjabi and B.Ed. (NCTE norms). OR B.A. (50%) with Punjabi and B.Ed. (Special Education). OR Giani + B.A. (50%) with B.Ed. OR M.A. Punjabi (50%) with B.Ed.
Urdu Language Teacher	Candidates must have: B.A. with Urdu and D.El.Ed. OR B.A. (50%) with Urdu and B.Ed. OR B.A. (45%) with Urdu and B.Ed. (NCTE norms) OR B.A. (50%) with Urdu and B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.T. + B.A. (50%) with B.Ed. OR M.A. Urdu (50%) with B.Ed. Note: Adeeb-Kamil is equivalent to B.A. and Moallim-e-Urdu is equivalent to B.Ed. Must pass Urdu TET.
Special Educator TET (Pre-Primary to Class V)	Candidates must have: 10+2 (50%) or Graduation with D.Ed. (Special Education) OR D.El.Ed. (RCI approved) with valid RCI & CRR number and 6-month cross-disability training in inclusive education.
Special Educator TET (Class VI to XII)	Candidates must have: Graduation (50%) with B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. with RCI approved qualification, valid RCI & CRR number and 6-month cross-disability training in inclusive education.

Himachal Pradesh TET Notification : Selection Process

Stage	Selection Process	Details
Stage 1	Online Application	Candidates must complete the online registration and submit the application form through the official portal of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.
Stage 2	Written Examination	Eligible candidates have to appear for the HP TET Written Examination, which is conducted in offline mode with objective-type questions for different teaching categories.
Stage 3	Qualifying Marks	Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by HPBOSE to qualify the Teacher Eligibility Test. Generally, candidates need 60% or above marks to qualify the examination.
Stage 4	Result Declaration	HPBOSE will declare the result based on candidates’ performance in the written examination.
Stage 5	Eligibility Certificate	Qualified candidates will be awarded the HP TET Eligibility Certificate, which makes them eligible to apply for teaching posts in schools across Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh TET Notification : Application Process

Step 1: Visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “HP TET 2026 Online Application” link.

Step 3: Complete the registration process by entering your basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and other required information.

Step 4: Log in using your registration number and password.

Step 5: Select the desired TET category/post and fill in the application form with personal, educational, and communication details.

Step 6: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and required documents in the prescribed format.
