Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University has released an official notification for the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET-BED) 2026. This entrance exam is conducted for admission into Regular, Distance, and Shiksha Shastri 2-year B.Ed. courses for the academic session 2026.

The online application process started on 27 April 2026 and will continue until 18 May 2026. Application Fee
  • Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand) for General/unreserved Candidates

  • Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred) for the SC/ST category candidates.
  • The Fee is to be paid through an online payment gateway only.
  • Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance

Bihar CET B.Ed Online Form : Eligibility

Course/ProgrammeEligibility Criteria
B.Ed. (CET-B.Ed.) – 2 Year ProgrammeCandidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or Master’s Degree in Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanities / Commerce OR Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology (Science & Mathematics specialization) with 55% marks or equivalent qualification
Shiksha Shastri – Basic QualificationCandidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as main subject AND Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Acharya (traditional Sanskrit Shastra) with 50% marks or equivalent
Shiksha Shastri – Option 1Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two-Year Shastri or B.A. (with Sanskrit) and Acharya (First Year) / M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit) from a recognized University
Shiksha Shastri – Option 2Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two-Year Shastri or B.A. (with Sanskrit) must complete one-year Bridge Course to become eligible
Important NoteThe minimum 50% aggregate will be calculated separately and not by combining marks of Acharya (First Year) / M.A. (First Year) or Bridge Course
