Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University has released an official notification for the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET-BED) 2026. This entrance exam is conducted for admission into Regular, Distance, and Shiksha Shastri 2-year B.Ed. courses for the academic session 2026.

(CET-B.Ed.) – 2 Year Programme | Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or Master’s Degree in Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanities / Commerce OR Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology (Science & Mathematics specialization) with 55% marks or equivalent qualification |
| Shiksha Shastri – Basic Qualification | Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as main subject AND Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Acharya (traditional Sanskrit Shastra) with 50% marks or equivalent |
| Shiksha Shastri – Option 1 | Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two-Year Shastri or B.A. (with Sanskrit) and Acharya (First Year) / M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit) from a recognized University |
