UPSC JTO, Law Officer And Other Posts 2026: Selection Process

UPSC Recruitment 2026 में Candidates का Selection Post की Recruitment Process के अनुसार किया जाएगा। Selection में Recruitment Test (RT) और Interview शामिल हो सकते हैं। अगर Applications की संख्या ज्यादा होती है, तो UPSC Shortlisting Criteria का इस्तेमाल कर सकता है। Selection Process की Important Details नीचे दी गई हैं।

Shortlisting	If The Number Of Applications Is Large, The Commission May Adopt One Or More Of The Following Criteria To Restrict The Number Of Candidates Called For Interview To A Reasonable Number:- Higher Educational Qualification Than The Minimum Prescribed Higher Relevant Experience Than The Minimum Prescribed Experience Before Or After Obtaining The Essential Qualification Experience Even Where No Experience Is Prescribed As Essential Qualification (EQ) Or Desirable Qualification (DQ) Experience Rendered On A Part-Time Basis, Daily Wages, Visiting Faculty, Or Guest Faculty Basis Will Not Be Counted For Shortlisting Candidates For Interview.
Recruitment Test (RT)	A Recruitment Test May Be Conducted for Certain Posts. The Minimum Suitability Level for the RT Will Be Decided by the Commission on a Case-To-Case Basis.
Interview	The Interview Will Carry a Total Of 100 Marks. The Minimum Suitability Level Is 50 Marks For UR, 45 Marks For OBC, And 40 Marks For SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
RT + Interview	If The Selection Process Includes Both Recruitment Test And Interview, Candidates Must Achieve The Prescribed Minimum Suitability Level At Both Stages.
Recruitment Test (RT)/Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) Centres	The Test Will Ordinarily Be Conducted at Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Jaipur, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Port Blair, Ranchi, And Visakhapatnam. For Posts Under The Administration Of The Union Territory Of Ladakh, The Centres Will Be Leh, Kargil, Srinagar, And Delhi.
Basis Of Interview Shortlisting	Candidates Will Be Shortlisted For Interview On The Basis Of The Information Provided In Their Online Applications And Their Performance In The Recruitment Test (RT), If Held.
Document Verification	Shortlisted Candidates Will Be Required To Submit Self-Attested Copies Of Documents And Relevant Certificates Supporting The Claims Made In Their Applications, As And When Demanded By The Commission.
Final Selection	Candidates Will Be Selected On The Basis Of Prescribed Eligibility, Recruitment Test Performance, If Conducted, And Interview Performance.

Account Registration: Candidates सबसे पहले UPSC की Official Website पर जाकर अपना Account Create करें, अगर पहले से Registered नहीं है|
Universal Registration: Universal Registration Complete करें और Universal Registration Number (URN) प्राप्त करें, जो सभी UPSC Recruitments के लिए Common होगा|
Common Application Form: Common Application Form (CAF) को Complete करें और जिस Post के लिए Apply करना है, उसके लिए Post/Vacancy-Specific Module को Fill करें|
Application Number: Post-Specific Module Complete करने के बाद Candidates को एक Post-Specific Application Number मिलेगा|
Photo And Signature: CAF में Photograph Upload करें, Live Photograph Capture करें और Plain White Paper पर Black Ink से तीन बार Signature करके उसे Upload करें|
Documents Upload: Date Of Birth, Category, Educational Qualification और Experience से जुड़े Supporting Documents को अलग-अलग PDF में Upload करें|
Application Fee: अगर आपकी Category के लिए Fee Applicable है, तो ₹25 Application Fee का Online Payment Visa/Master/RuPay Card, UPI या Net Banking के माध्यम से करें|
Application Review: Final Submission से पहले Application Form में भरी गई सभी Details को ध्यान से Check करें, क्योंकि Final Submission के बाद Correction, Alteration या Withdrawal की सुविधा नहीं होगी|
Final Submission: Application Form को 16 October 2026 को शाम 6:00 बजे तक Final Submit करें|
Printout: Final Submitted Application Form का Printout निकालकर रखें। इसे UPSC को Post के माध्यम से भेजने की जरूरत नहीं है, लेकिन Interview के लिए बुलाए जाने पर इसे Original Documents के साथ लाना होगा|
