Tier-I Examination:
The Tier-I exam consists of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL 2026 Notification: Application Process
- Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR) Applications must be submitted online at the new SSC Headquarters website (https://ssc.gov.in) or via the “my SSC” mobile application. If you haven’t generated an OTR on the new website, you must do so first; older OTR profiles from the previous website will not function.
- Step 2: Live Photograph Capture You do not need a pre-existing photo. The application module will prompt you to capture a live photograph using your webcam or mobile device. Ensure you are in good light with a plain background, and do not wear a cap or spectacles.
- Step 3: Signature Upload Upload a scanned copy of your signature in JPEG/JPG format (10 to 20 KB), with dimensions of about 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).
- Step 4: Fee Payment After filling out the form, submit the application fee of ₹100 online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay) before 23-06-2026 (23:00 hours). Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and eligible ESM candidates are exempt from this fee.
