RPSC School Lecturer (Special) Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification 1. Post Graduate or equivalent qualification recognized by the UGC in any of the following subjects: English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sociology, or Music.

2. B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. with a 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Professional Registration Mandatory registration (Permanent or Temporary) with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) before the exam date. Permanent registration must be presented prior to appointment.
Language & Culture Working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and familiarity with Rajasthani culture.
Appearing Candidates Candidates in the final year of their qualifying exam can apply but must produce proof of educational qualification before the competitive exam date.

General Studies

(150 Marks)

1 Hour and 30 Minutes 1. History of Rajasthan and Indian History (with special emphasis on Indian National Movement).

2. Mental Ability Test, Statistics & Mathematics (Secondary Level), Language Ability Test (Hindi & English).

3. Current Affairs.

4. General Science, Indian Polity, Geography of Rajasthan.

5. Educational Psychology, Educational Management, Educational Scenario in Rajasthan, and the RTE Act, 2009.

Paper-II:

Subject & Special Education

(300 Marks)

3 Hours 1. Senior Secondary Level knowledge of the specific chosen subject (English/Hindi/History/Political Science/Sociology/Music) — 150 Marks.

2. Special Education: Agencies, Policies, Acts, and Rules regarding specially-abled persons; Pedagogy; Teaching Learning Material; IT & Computer usage in teaching; Education modalities for various kinds of disabilities — 150 Marks.

Application Process 

  1. Read Guidelines: Visit the official portal at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and carefully read the instructions.
  2. One Time Registration (OTR): Log into the Rajasthan SSO Portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in). Go to the Recruitment Portal and initiate One Time Registration (OTR).
  3. Aadhar/Janaadhar Verification: Complete your mandatory e-KYC using your Aadhar or Janaadhar card. Make sure your name, father’s name, birth date, and gender align exactly with your secondary school certificates before doing OTR, as these parameters fetch automatically and cannot be altered easily later.
  4. Live Photo and Scribe Choice: The application system will automatically fetch a live photo during registration. Make sure the preview image is clear. If you require a scribe (for PwD candidates), you must explicitly opt for it in the form.
  5. Pay One-Time Registration Fee: Pay the required fee online based on your reservation category. (If you have registered and paid the OTR fee under this new structure previously, you do not need to pay again but must log in to link it) .
  6. Review and Submit: Check all fields through the form Preview to avoid mistakes in category, age, or subject selection. Submit the form and ensure your Application Number (Application No.) is generated; without a number, the form remains incomplete. Take a hard copy print for your records.
