RPSC RAS Pre Notification 2026 Out For 607 Vacancies!!

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has officially released the notification for RPSC RAS Pre Recruitment 2026, offering a golden opportunity for candidates aspiring to join Rajasthan’s prestigious administrative services. Through the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination 2026, a total of 607 vacancies have been announced for various state and subordinate posts. The online application process will begin from 4 June 2026 and continue till 3 July 2026 through the official RPSC portal.

Candidates holding a graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this highly competitive examination. The selection process will be conducted in three stages Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. RPSC RAS Pre Notification: Eligibility Criteria

Educational QualificationMust hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament, or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
Appearing CandidatesCandidates who have appeared or are appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply. However, they must provide proof of acquiring the educational qualification before the commencement of the Main Examination.

Stage 3: Personality & Viva-Voce (Interview)

  • Marks: 100 Marks.
  • Evaluates character, personality, address, physique, and core knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

Mandatory OMR Response Rules & Penalties 

  1. Five Options: Every question features 5 distinct options, marked as 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
  2. Mandatory Marking: You must use a BLUE BALL POINT PEN to darken exactly one circle for every single question.
  3. Unattempted Questions: If you do not know the answer and choose not to attempt a question, you must darken the 5th circle.
  4. Negative Marking Penalty: If a question is left completely blank (none of the five circles are darkened), one-third ($1/3$) part of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
  5. Extra Time Allocation: Candidates are given an extra 10 minutes beyond the scheduled 3 hours explicitly to verify that they have darkened one of the circles for every question.
  6. Disqualification Rule: Any candidate who fails to darken a circle (options 1 to 5) in more than 10% of the total questions will be automatically disqualified from the selection process

Application Process 

  1. Visit Portal: Go to the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in and click on the Apply Online link, or log in directly via the SSO portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. One-Time Registration (OTR): Navigate to the Recruitment Portal in Citizen Apps (G2C). Complete your OTR profile by performing mandatory KYC using your Aadhar Card or Jan Aadhar Card. Your name, father’s name, date of birth, and gender will be securely fetched from your ID document automatically.
  3. Upload Photograph & Signature: During OTR, a live photo will be captured which seamlessly fetches into your application form. Ensure the photo is clear. You must also upload your scanned signature and left-hand thumb impression.
  4. Fill Application Details: Select your specific category, post preferences, and fill in your academic/experience records carefully.
  5. Pay Registration Fee: Pay the mandatory One-Time Registration Fee online using credit card, debit card, or net banking:
  6. General (UR) / Creamy Layer OBC/MBC: ₹600
  7. SC / ST / Non-Creamy Layer OBC & MBC / EWS / Sahariya: ₹400
  8. Divyangjan (PwBD): ₹400
  9. Submit & Print: Verify all details using the application form Preview. Click on Submit and make sure an Application Number is generated. Print out the hard copy for future validation.
