Last Minute Preparation Tips

  1. Master the Core Subject Domain: Since the final merit relies entirely on your core technical subject (STA-B) or trade theory (Tech-A), allocate 80% of your revision hours strictly to high-weightage engineering/science modules.
  2. Manage Sectional Locking Wisely: Practice with timed mock tests. Because sections will automatically lock after their designated period, you cannot afford to linger too long on complex questions.
  3. Tackle the Negative Marking: With a $0.25$ penalty for wrong answers, guessing blindly can ruin your score. Eliminate obvious incorrect choices first, and only take calculated risks.
  4. Practice Formulas and Diagrams: For engineering branches like Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics, keep a handy sheet of frequently asked formulas, circuit behaviors, and technical values for quick morning revisions.
  5. Rest and Recover: Avoid late-night cramming sessions during the final 48 hours. Ensure a good sleep cycle so that your analytical reflexes remain sharp during the actual 2-hour test windows.
