How to apply for the HP SET Examination?
सबसे पहले HP SET की अधिकारिक Website http://www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc पर जाएँ।
फिर Registration लिंक पर क्लिक करें और New User के रूप में अपना Account बनाएं।
Registration के बाद लॉगिन करें और Online आवेदन फॉर्म भरे।
उसके बाद अपनी Personal Details, Educational Qualifications और Photograph/Signature अपलोड करें।
यह सब करने के बाद आवेदन शुल्क का भुगतान Online के माध्यम से करें।
अंत मे सबमिट करने के बाद Confirmation Page का प्रिंटआउट निकाल लें भविष्य के लिए।
HP SET 2026 : Eligibility Criteria
जो उम्मीदवार अभी Master’s की पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं या परिणाम का इंतजार कर रहे हैं, वे भी Provisionally आवेदन कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, Ph.D. धारकों और कुछ पुराने SET Qualifiers को UGC Guidelines के अनुसार कुछ छूट भी मिलती हैं।

HP SET 2026 : Selection Process
HP SET 2026 का Selection Process दोनों Paper-I और Paper-II में प्रदर्शन के आधार पर होगा। General Category के उम्मीदवारों को Qualify करने के लिए कम से कम 40% Aggregate Marks चाहिए, और Reserved Category के उम्मीदवारों के लिए 35% मार्क्स जरूरी हैं। जो उम्मीदवारों दोनों परीक्षाओं में Appear करेंगे, उनमें से केवल Top 6% ही Assistant Professor के लिए Eligible माने जाएंगे, और इसमें राज्य की आरक्षण नीति का ध्यान रखा जाएगा। अगर Last Qualifying अंकों पर Tie होती है, तो सभी उम्मीदवारों जिनके Marks समान होंगे, उन्हें Qualified घोषित किया जाएगा।
HP SET 2026 : Exam Pattern
HP SET 2026 परीक्षा दो पेपर्स में होगी । दोनों पेपर्स में केवल Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) होंगे और इन्हें दो अलग-अलग Sessions में Conduct किया जाएगा।

Marking Scheme:
- प्रत्येक प्रश्न 02 अंक का है।
- हर सही उत्तर के लिए Candidate को 2 marks मिलेंगे।
- गलत उत्तर के लिए कोई Negative मार्किंग नहीं होगी।
- Un-attempted प्रश्नों के लिए कोई अंक नहीं मिलेगा |
- किसी प्रश्न का उत्तर देने के लिए Candidate को एक सही विकल्प चुनना होगा।
- अगर कोई प्रश्न गलत पाया जाता है और उसे Drop कर दिया जाता है, तो सभी Candidates को 2 अंक दिए जाएंगे। ऐसा Human Error या Technical Error की वजह से हो सकता है।
Medium of Question Papers:
- प्रश्न पत्रों का माध्यम English और हिन्दी में होगा, सिवाय Language Papers, Computer Science और Environment Sciences के प्रश्न पत्रों के |
- अगर Translation या प्रश्न की बनावट में कोई Confusion या Ambiguity हो, तो English Version को अंतिम माना जाएगा और इस संबंध में H.P. Public Service Commission का निर्णय अंतिम होगा।
