Agniveer वायु चयन प्रक्रिया में कुल तीन Major Stages होती हैं। हर Stage को Qualify करना जरूरी होता है, तभी Candidate अगले चरण में Move करता है।

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
Online Test (Phase-I) को Qualify करने वाले Shortlist Candidates के नाम CASB वेब पोर्टल (iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in) पर Display किए जाएंगे। इन उम्मीदवारों को निर्धारित Airmen Selection Centres (ASC) पर Physical Fitness Test (PFT) तथा Adaptability Test-I और Test-II के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।

- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) को पास करने वाले सभी Candidates को Adaptability Test-I देना होता है| यह एक Objective Type लिखित Test होता है, जिसका Aim यह चेक करना होता है कि Candidate Indian Air Force में नौकरी के लिए Suitable है या नहीं। इस टेस्ट में यह देखा जाता है कि Candidate अलग-अलग Geographic Areas, Weather Conditions और Operational Situations में काम करने की क्षमता रखता है या नहीं|
- Adaptability Test-II
जो Candidates Adaptability Test-I को Qualify करते हैं, उन्हें आगे Adaptability Test-II देना होता है| यह टेस्ट Current IAF Policy के अनुसार Conduct किया जाता है|Adaptability Test-II का मकसद यह Assess करना होता है की Candidate Indian Air Force के Environment में खुद को ढाल सकता है या नहीं और वह Military Way of Life, Discipline और Routine के साथ Adjust कर पाने में सक्षम है या नहीं।
