  2. Phase 2: Mains Exam: An objective test of 200 marks. The scores from this exam are used to create the final merit list.
  3. Phase 3: Language Proficiency Test (LPT): This test is for candidates who qualify for the Mains exam but do not have proof of studying the specified local language of their state in their 10th or 12th-grade mark sheets. The LPT is also qualifying in nature.

Preparation Tips for Mains

  1. Focus on GA: General Awareness is the most scoring and time-saving section. Revise the last 6 months of current affairs daily.
  2. Take Mains Mocks: Do not wait for the prelims result. Start taking at least 2-3 full-length Mains mocks per week.
  3. Analyze Mocks: Focus on sectional timing. Analyze your weak areas and work on them.
  4. Practice High-Level DI & Puzzles: These two topics will form the bulk of the Quant and Reasoning sections. Practice them extensively.
