UPTET Result 2026 : Eligibility

For Classes 1 to 5- Primary Level
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC) (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree + 2-year BTC (Special Training for Untrained Graduates through Distance Mode) (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree + 2-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) / Special Education Diploma recognized by NCTE/RCI (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree + Special BTC Training recognized by NCTE in Uttar Pradesh (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree + 2-year BTC Urdu Special Training (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree + Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree + Moallim-e-Urdu Degree (before 11 August 1997) (For Urdu Teacher)

OR

  • Candidates must have Senior Secondary (Minimum 50% Marks) + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (Final Year appearing or Passed)

For Classes 6 to 8- Upper Primary Level:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with at least 45% marks + B.Ed as per NCTE norms (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks + B.Ed in Special Education recognized by NCTE/RCI (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have Senior Secondary (Minimum 50% Marks) + 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have Senior Secondary (Minimum 50% Marks) + 4-year B.El.Ed (Final Year appearing or Passed)

OR

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks + 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) recognized by RCI (Final Year appearing or Passed)

UPTET Result 2026 : Download Process

  • Visit the official website of UPTET at the UP Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari portal.
  • On the homepage, go to the UPTET section.
  • Click on the UPTET Result 2026 link.
  • Enter your Registration Number and other required login details.
  • Enter the Captcha Code displayed on the screen.
  • Click on the Submit/Login button.
  • Your UPTET Result 2026 will appear on the screen.
  • Check your Marks, Qualifying Status, and other details carefully.
  • Download the result and save it for future reference.
  • Take a Printout of the result for further use.
