Preparation Tips

  1. Master the Core Agricultural Subjects: Since Part 1 holds the maximum weightage (65 marks), prioritize revising your B.Sc. Agriculture notes. Focus heavily on Crop Science and Soil Management, as they constitute 40 marks alone.
  2. Stay Updated with UP Current Affairs: Part 3 is highly scoring if you are well-versed in UP’s local geography, economy, and government schemes. Read regional newspapers and UP-specific current affairs magazines to capture the 20 marks effectively.
  3. Brush Up on Modern Tech: Do not ignore the Computer & IT section. While basic MS Office knowledge is required, you must also read up on recent advancements like AI, Deep Learning, and digital financial tools.
  4. Beware of Negative Marking: With a 0.25 mark penalty for every wrong answer, blind guessing can ruin your chances. Practice taking mock tests to build the habit of skipping questions you are unsure about.
  5. Organize Your Documents Early: Ensure your PET-2025 scorecard, EWS certificates (if applicable, valid for 2026-27), and CCC computer certificates are ready and valid before the application deadline of July 28, 2026.
