The examination was conducted on 14 September 2025, and the last date to submit the application form was 20 June 2025. UPSC CDS-II Final Result : Eligibility
| Criteria | Details |
|---|
| Nationality | The candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidates from Nepal and Bhutan can also apply as per the rules. |
| Educational Qualification (IMA) | Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any stream (Arts / Science / Commerce) from a recognized University. Final year students are also eligible, but they must submit the degree certificate at the time of the SSB Interview. |
| Educational Qualification (OTA) | Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University. Both male and female candidates are eligible for OTA. |
| Educational Qualification (INA) | Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized institution. Only engineering graduates are eligible. |
| Educational Qualification (AFA) | Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, or a Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (B.E./B.Tech) degree. |
| Other Requirements | Candidate must be physically and medically fit. Good character is required, and there should be no criminal record. |

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the “What’s New” or “Examination” section.
Step 3: Find and click on the link for “CDS-II 2025 Final Result”.
Step 4: The result PDF will open on the screen.
Step 5: Use the search option (Ctrl + F) to find your Roll Number or Name in the list.
Step 6: If your details appear, you are qualified in the final result.
Step 7: Download and save the result PDF for future reference.
Step 8: Take a printout of the result for further use.
