3Assistant Controller legal Measurement (Grade-II)(1) (A) From a University established by law in India, or

(B) From any institution other than a University recognized or declared to be a University under any law, or

(C) Degree in science with physics or mechanical engineering as one of the subjects from a foreign university recognized by the Central Government ; and

(2) Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagiri Script.

4Law OfficerA Candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Law Officer must possess the following qualifications:-

(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a University established by law in India.

(ii) Registration in the concerned Bar Council or the affiliated Bar Association recognised by the Bar Council of India and two years practice experience certificate
issued/Certified by Bar Council/Bar Association.

5Technical Assistant (Geology)Essential Qualification:-

(I) A master’s degree with at least 50 percent mark’s in Geology or Applied Geology or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad.

(ii) Preferential :- Research experience or field training conducted by Geological Survey of India

6Technical Assistant (Geophysics)Post graduate degree with at least 50 percent mark’s in Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology or applied Geology (with physics, Mathematics at the B.Sc. level) from a university established by law in India.
7Tax Assessment OfficerGraduation Degree in Commerce or Economics with 55% marks from a university recognized by Law in India.

UPPSC PCS Pre Recruitment : Selection Process

StageSelection ProcessDescription
Stage 1Preliminary Examination (Objective/MCQ)Candidates must appear for the offline Preliminary Examination consisting of objective-type (MCQ) questions. It serves as the screening stage for the Main Examination.
Stage 2Main Examination (Written)Candidates who qualify the Prelims will be eligible to appear for the offline Main Examination, which consists of descriptive written papers.
Stage 3Personality Test (Interview)Candidates who clear the Main Examination will be called for the Personality Test (Interview) to assess their overall suitability, communication skills, and administrative aptitude.

Step 2: Click on the “Apply Online” link for UPPSC PCS Pre Recruitment 2026.

Step 3: Complete the One Time Registration (OTR), if not already registered.

Step 4: Log in using your OTR credentials and fill in the online application form with the required personal, educational, and communication details.

Step 5: Upload the required documents, including your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and other prescribed certificates in the specified format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee through the available online payment modes.
