| Eligibility Criteria | Details |

| Nationality | The candidate must be an Indian citizen. |
| Domicile | The applicant must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Uttar Pradesh and possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority. |
| Educational Qualification | Candidates must possess the required educational qualification as prescribed in the official notification before applying. |
| Age Limit | Candidates must be 18 to 30 years of age as on 01 July 2025. |
| Age Relaxation | Age relaxation for reserved categories will be provided as per the Government of Uttar Pradesh rules. |
| Physical Standards | Candidates must fulfill the prescribed physical standards and fitness requirements mentioned in the official notification. |
| Documents Required | Applicants must have valid documents such as educational certificates, domicile certificate, identity proof, and other documents required during the verification process. |

UP Home Guard DV/PST Admit Card : Selection Process
| Stage | Selection Process | Details |

| Stage 1 | Written Examination | Candidates must appear for a written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks. Qualifying this stage is mandatory to proceed to the next round. |
| Stage 2 | Physical Standard Test (PST) & Document Verification | Candidates who qualify the written examination will undergo the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification (DV) to verify their physical eligibility and submitted documents. |
| Stage 3 | Physical Measurement Test (PMT) | The PMT is qualifying in nature. Candidates must successfully complete the prescribed physical measurements and, where applicable, the required running test within the specified time limit. |
| Stage 4 | Medical Examination | Candidates who clear all previous stages will undergo a medical examination. Only those found medically fit will be considered for final selection. |

Step 1: Visit the official UP Home Guard recruitment website.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “UP Home Guard DV/PST Admit Card 2026” link.
Step 3: Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Password/Captcha Code as required.
Step 4: Click on the Login/Submit button.
Step 5: Your UP Home Guard DV/PST Admit Card 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card, including your name, roll number, reporting time, venue, and instructions.
Step 7: Download the admit card in PDF format and take a clear printout.
Step 8: Carry the printed admit card, a valid photo ID, and all the required original documents to the DV/PST venue on the scheduled date.
