UP DELEd Online Form : Eligibility Criteria

Academic QualificationCandidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, etc.) from a university or institution recognized by the government.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
  • General / OBC Category: Minimum 50% marks in graduation.
  • SC / ST / PwD Category: Minimum 45% marks (5% relaxation) in graduation.
Age Limit
  • Minimum Age: 18 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 35 Years (for General/Unreserved category).
Age Relaxation
  • SC / ST / OBC Candidates: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
  • PwD (Physically Handicapped) Candidates: Relaxation as per UP Government norms.
Domicile / State Category StatusCandidates belonging to states outside Uttar Pradesh are eligible but will be treated strictly under the Unreserved (General) category and cannot claim state reservation benefits.

1. Application Submission
  • Candidates must fill out the online application form accurately on the official portal.
  • No Correction Window: Once submitted, no changes or editing will be permitted under any circumstances. Details must be matched with original documents before saving.
2. Merit List Preparation
  • Admission is entirely merit-based.
  • A State Rank/Merit List is calculated automatically based on the aggregate percentage marks obtained by the candidate in Class 10th (High School), Class 12th (Intermediate), and Graduation.
  • There is no entrance examination conducted for this selection process.
3. Domicile / Reservation Filter
  • Only candidates belonging to Uttar Pradesh are eligible to claim reservation benefits (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD).
  • Candidates from all other states outside UP are treated strictly under the Unreserved (General) Category.
4. Counseling & College Allocation
  • Based on the generated State Rank, candidates must participate in the online counseling process.
  • Seats are allotted in District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs), CTE Varanasi, and government-affiliated Private/Minority D.El.Ed institutions according to rank and preference.
5. Document Verification
  • Final admission is subject to physical verification of original academic marks sheets, certificates, identity proofs, and category certificates at the allotted institute.

Step 1: Visit the official UP DElEd admission portal.

Step 2: Click on the “UP DElEd Online Form 2026” registration link.

Step 3: Complete the registration process by providing your basic details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and other required information.

Step 4: Generate your registration number and login credentials.

Step 5: Log in to the portal using the registered credentials.

Step 6: Fill in the online application form with personal, educational, and communication details carefully.

Step 7: Upload the required documents, including your photograph, signature, and other necessary certificates in the prescribed format.

Step 8: Review all the entered information and make corrections if required.

Step 9: Pay the application fee through the available online payment modes.

Step 10: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
