SSC CGL Recruitment 2026 : Vacancy Details

SSC CGL 2026 has released approximately 12,256 tentative vacancies. The Commission is still in the process of collecting vacancy details, so the number of vacancies may be updated later. Updated post-wise and category-wise vacancies will be released on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates should note that SSC does not release state-wise or zone-wise vacancies separately. If any candidate wants information regarding state-wise or zone-wise vacancies, they will need to contact the respective user department.

Assistant Audit Officer (State Cadre)Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. Candidates must also have proficiency in the Regional/Official Language of the concerned State, including reading, writing, speaking and understanding the language at Matriculation level. A valid language proficiency certificate from a recognized State/Central Board is required.
Assistant Accounts Officer (State Cadre)
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized UniversityORInstitute with at least 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12th.

OR

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects at Degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-IICandidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Demography / Population Studies / Operation Research / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Technology / Computer Application / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence from a recognized University or Institute.
All Other PostsCandidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can also apply, but they must possess the essential qualification on or before 01 August 2026.
