SGPGI Nursing Officer and Non Teaching Post

Stage / CriteriaDetails & Description
Stage 1: Common Recruitment Test (CRT)
  • Applicability: Conducted for all advertised posts.
  • Format: Objective-type, computer-based online examination held across major cities in India.
Stage 2: Skill Test / Technical Examination
  • Applicability: Mandatory only for specific operational posts like Stenographer and Senior Administrative Assistant.
  • Shortlisting Ratio: Candidates equal to three (3) times the number of advertised vacancies in each category will be shortlisted based on their CRT merit.
Final Selection & Merit List
  • Basis: The final merit list for all categories will be prepared solely based on the marks obtained in the CRT (for those who pass the skill test, where required).
  • Normalization: If an exam for any post is conducted across multiple shifts, a standard statistical normalization formula will be applied to balance varying difficulty levels.
