  • B.Sc. Degree in Medical Perfusion from a recognized Institute/University
  • OR
  • B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with certificate in Perfusion Technology after minimum 01 year training in a center with CVTS Services.
  • Experience: 05 years experience in clinical perfusion.
Junior Engineer (Telecom)
  • First class diploma in telecommunication/electronics engineering.
  • Experience: 2 years experience in the concerned field.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)
  • Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic / Institute.
  • Desirable: Experience in Electrical Engineering work.
Perfusionist
  • B.Sc. Degree in Medical Perfusion from a recognized Institute/University

OR

  • B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with certificate in Perfusion Technology after minimum 01 year training in a center with CVTS Services.
  • Experience: 01 year experience in clinical perfusion.
Technician (Radiology)
  • 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
  • Diploma (2 yrs. course) in Radiography Techniques from a recognized Institution.
  • 1 year experience as Radiographer.

OR

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) (3 yrs. course) in Radiography from a recognized University/ Institution.
Medical Lab Technologist
  • Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Medical Laboratory Science from a Govt. recognized university/ Institution.
  • Experience: Two years relevant experience in a Laboratory attached with a hospital having minimum 100 beds.
Technician (Radiotherapy)
  • 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
  • Diploma (2 yrs. course) in Radiotherapy Techniques from a recognized Institution.
  • 1 year experience as Radiotherapy Technician.

OR

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) (3 yrs. course) in Radiotherapy from a recognized University/ Institution.
Technical Assistant (Neuro-otology)
  • B.Sc. Degree in Speech and Hearing from a recognized Institution/ University.
  • Desirable: (i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in Speech and Hearing (ii) Clinical experience in a hospital (Neuro-otology).
Junior Occupational Therapist
  • Inter (Science)
  • Master Degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT).
Technician (Dialysis)
  • B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology
  • OR
  • B.Sc. with diploma in Dialysis technology of 02 years and one year experience of working as dialysis technician in a Hospital of 20 dialysis unit.
Sanitary Inspector Grade-I
  • Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
  • Certificate of Sanitary Inspector Course.
  • Experience: Not less than 4 years of experience in the line, preferably in a Hospital of repute.
Receptionist
  • Degree from a recognized University.
  • Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations.
  • Desirable: Experience in Public Relations/ Publications/ Printing/Publishing and exposure to working on Personal Computer.
Pharmacist Gr.-II
  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University / Institution.
  • Should be a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • Desirable: Degree in pharmacy and 02 years experience in a related field.

SGPGI Non Teaching Various Post : Selection Process

Selection Stage / TopicProcess and Main Rules Details
1. Screening of Application

All applications submitted with the fee are accepted provisionally. Candidates are initially allowed to appear for the Computer Based Test (CBT). However, if a candidate is found ineligible at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled immediately.

2. Computer Based Test (CBT)

The primary selection is based on the marks obtained in the objective-type CBT. The medium of this computer-based examination is English language only.

3. Minimum Qualifying Marks

To clear the CBT, candidates must secure the following minimum qualifying marks:

OBC Category: 50%

SC & ST Category: 45%

4. Skill Test / Technical Examination

For specific posts where required (such as Stenographer or Senior Administrative Assistant), a qualifying skill test will be conducted.

• Candidates equal to three times (3x) the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted based on CBT merit.

• This test is strictly qualifying in nature, meaning its marks will not be added to the final merit score.

5. Final Merit List

The final merit list is prepared separately for each category based solely on the marks obtained in the CBT, provided the candidate successfully qualifies the required Skill Test.

6. Resolution of Tie (Tie-Breaking Rules)

If two or more candidates score equal marks, their rank is decided using the following sequential hierarchy:

1. Total marks of the tied candidates.

2. Date of Birth (Older candidates are ranked higher).

3. Negative Marks (Candidates with fewer wrong answers are ranked higher).

4. Core Section Marks (Higher marks in the subject-specific section score higher).

5. Application Number (Earlier application submission gets higher rank).

7. Document Verification

All selections remain purely provisional until complete document verification and verification of the candidate’s genuineness are finalized by the Institute.
