- Time Duration: Candidates will have exactly 1 Hour to complete the 50-mark exam.
- Language Choice: There are 10 questions for Hindi and 10 questions for English; candidates have the option to attempt these 10 questions in either language.

Secretariat Security Force: Preparation Tips
1. Mastering the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Build Your Running Stamina: The PET requires candidates to complete a 1.6 Kms race within 7.30 minutes. You should start a daily running routine to build your cardiovascular stamina.
- Practice Your Jumps: You must clear a Long Jump of 11 Feet and a High Jump of 3.5 Feet. You will be given 3 chances for each jump. Incorporate plyometric exercises into your routine and practice these jumps in a local field to perfect your timing and landing technique.
2. Conquering the Written Examination
- Develop a Balanced Study Schedule: Allocate daily study hours to cover General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, and Language skills (English or Hindi).
- Leverage the Lack of Negative Marking: Because there is absolutely no negative marking, your strategy should be to attempt all 50 questions. Never leave a question blank on the exam day.

3. Acing the Trade Test
The Trade Test is worth 50 marks, and you must secure at least 50% to qualify. This phase tests your practical, hands-on abilities in your chosen profession.
- For Constable (Barber): Practice hair cutting of various types, which carries the highest weightage (20 marks). Additionally, learn proper body and head massage techniques (15 marks) and memorize the functions of all tools and machines used in the trade (15 marks).
- For Constable (Washerman): You must confidently demonstrate washing various types of clothes (15 marks). You also need to practice ironing and gain a deep knowledge of dry-cleaning methods (20 marks combined).
