Rssb Jamadar Grade-Ii

RSSB Jamadar Grade-II is a state government job under the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSSB), also known as RSMSSB. It is meant to hire support staff for different government offices in Rajasthan. In the 2025 recruitment, RSSB released a notice to fill 72 Jamadar Grade-II posts, including both TSP and non-TSP area vacancies.

To apply, candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (12th class) from a recognized board and should also have basic computer knowledge like DOEACC ‘O’ Level, RSCIT, or a computer diploma. The selection process includes a written exam, followed by physical tests and document checking.

RSSB Jamadar Grade-II: Exam Pattern

The recruitment process consists of a written examination followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standards Test (PST). The written exam is objective-type and will be conducted offline using OMR sheets.

Preparation Tips

  1. Master Rajasthan GK: Since the majority of the syllabus focuses on Rajasthan’s History, Geography, and Economy, use standard books like Rajasthan Board (RBSE) textbooks for a solid foundation.
  2. Science & Math Practice: Don’t ignore the 35 combined marks for Science and Math. Focus on 10th-grade level concepts and practice mental math to save time during the 2-hour exam.
  3. The “5th Option” Strategy: Practice with new OMR patterns. Remember, if you skip a question, you must mark ‘E’. Budget an extra 10 minutes at the end specifically to ensure no question is left completely blank.
  4. Physical Conditioning: The 10 km run for males and 5 km for females requires endurance. Start light jogging daily to build stamina well before the physical test date.
  5. Current Affairs: Stay updated with the last 6–12 months of Rajasthan-specific news, especially government welfare schemes and budget highlights
