RRB ALP Syllabus: Selection Process

The selection for Assistant Loco Pilot includes four main stages:

  1. CBT 1 (Computer Based Test Stage 1) – initial screening exam

  2. CBT 2 (Computer Based Test Stage 2) – main written exam

  3. CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) – specific aptitude test for ALP

  4. Document Verification + Medical Examination – final checks before appointment.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted online (computer-based). The written stages include CBT 1, CBT 2 (Part A & Part B), and then CBAT.
