Preparation Tips

  1. Prioritize General Hindi: General Hindi carries a massive 200 marks and often acts as the primary scoring differentiator. Focus heavily on grammar, vocabulary, sentence structuring, and comprehension. Consistent daily practice in Devnagari script reading and writing will build your speed and accuracy.
  2. Master Rajasthani Geography and Culture: Given the strict requirement for knowledge of Rajasthani culture, Paper 2 will heavily test your understanding of the state’s history, geography, arts, and socio-economic landscape. Create separate, concise notes specifically for Rajasthan-centric current affairs and history.
  3. Adapt to the 5-Bubble OMR System: The strict negative marking rules for leaving questions entirely blank can easily derail an otherwise great performance. Purchase or print OMR sheets that feature five options and practice filling the 5th bubble for skipped questions during your mock tests. This muscle memory is critical to avoid accidental disqualification.
  4. Balance Books and Physical Fitness: Securing a top rank in the written exam is only half the battle; the Physical Efficiency Test requires stamina and strength. Do not wait for the written results to start running. Incorporate a balanced fitness routine into your daily schedule immediately to ensure you clear the rigorous physical standards set by the Director General of Police.
