The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Office Attendant posts. A total of 572 vacancies are available under this recruitment. The online application process started on 15 January 2026, and candidates can apply up to 04 February 2026. To be eligible, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years old as on 01 January 2026. Age Relaxation
RBI Bank provides age relaxation for the Office Attendant position as per their regulations.
Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10th (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized board of the concerned State/UT under the regional jurisdiction of the recruiting office they are applying to. Applicants should be undergraduates as on 01/01/2026; graduates or those with higher qualifications are not eligible. Ex-servicemen must have passed Class 10th and completed at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not obtained graduation outside the Armed Forces. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) under the concerned recruiting office.

RBI Bank Office Attendant Recruitment: Application Process
Visit the official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Go to the “Recruitment” or “Careers” section on the homepage.
Click on the link for “RBI Office Attendant Recruitment”.
Register yourself by entering basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
Login using the registration number and password received after registration.
Fill in the application form carefully with personal, educational, and other required details.
Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and required documents in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking (if applicable).
Review the application form and submit it.
Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
RBI Bank Office Attendant Recruitment: Exam Pattern
There will be negative marking for wrong answers in the Online Test. 1/4th mark will be
deducted for each wrong answer.
Online tests, except the test of General English, will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.
The candidates provisionally selected from the Online Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT)
