The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released the PGCIL Diploma Trainee Admit Card 2026 for candidates appearing in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Applicants who have successfully completed the application process can now download their hall ticket by logging in with their Registration ID and Date of Birth. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, examination centre, and exam-day instructions. The PGCIL Diploma Trainee CBT 2026 is scheduled to be held on 01 July 2026. Candidates are advised to download and verify all the details mentioned on the admit card well before the examination date and carry a printed copy along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre.

Diploma Trainee (Electrical) – DTE

  • Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering-Electrical) from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute.
  • Minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates, and Pass Marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
  • Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. with or without a Diploma are NOT allowed.
27 Years

Diploma Trainee (Civil) – DTC

  • Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute.
  • Minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates, and Pass Marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
  • Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E. with or without a Diploma are NOT allowed.
27 Years

Diploma Trainee (Survey) – DTS

  • Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Survey Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering (with survey as a subject) from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute.
  • Minimum 70% marks.
  • Higher technical qualifications like B.E./B.Tech etc. with or without a Diploma are NOT allowed.

Junior Officer Trainee (HR)

  • Three years full-time Regular Graduate Degree BBA / BBM / BBS or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University.
  • Minimum 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates.
  • Candidates with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent higher qualifications are NOT allowed to apply.

Junior Officer Trainee (F&A)

  • Inter CA / Inter CMA.
  • Candidates with Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ CA / CMA or equivalent higher qualifications are NOT allowed to apply.

  • Full-Time Regular Two Years ITI (Surveyor) from a recognized Technical Board/ Institute (NCVET/ SCVT approved).

Step 1: Visit the official website of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “PGCIL Diploma Trainee Admit Card 2026” link.

Step 3: Enter your Registration ID and Date of Birth/Password in the login portal.

Step 4: Click on the “Login” or “Submit” button.

Step 5: Your admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card, including your name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and exam centre.

Step 7: Download the admit card and take a clear printout to carry to the examination centre along with a valid photo ID proof.
