The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card for candidates appearing in the examination. Applicants who have successfully registered for the UGC NET June session can now download their admit cards from the official website using their application number and date of birth. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift timing, examination center, and reporting time. Candidates are advised to download and verify all details mentioned on the admit card before the examination day.

NTA UGC NET Admit Card: Selection Process

StageDetails
Computer-Based Test (CBT)Candidates must appear for the online examination consisting of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers are conducted in a single session of 3 hours.
Qualifying MarksGeneral category candidates must secure at least 40% aggregate marks in both papers, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates must obtain a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
Merit List PreparationCandidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks are considered for merit list preparation. For Assistant Professor eligibility, the top 6% of appearing candidates are declared qualified.
JRF SelectionAmong the NET-qualified candidates, those with the highest scores are selected for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) based on the available slots and reservation policy.
Ph.D. Admission CategoriesResults are categorized into three groups: Category 1 (JRF + Assistant Professor + Ph.D. Admission), Category 2 (Assistant Professor + Ph.D. Admission), and Category 3 (Ph.D. Admission only).
Ph.D. Admission CriteriaFor Ph.D. admissions, NET score carries a weightage of 70%, while the interview/viva-voce carries a weightage of 30%.
Document VerificationUniversities and institutions verify all original documents before final appointment or admission. Any discrepancy may lead to cancellation of candidature.

NTA UGC NET June Admit Card : Download Process

Step 1: Visit the official NTA UGC NET website.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card” link.

Step 3: Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Security Pin/Captcha Code.

Step 4: Click on the “Submit” button to log in.

Step 5: Your UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card, including your exam date, shift, and examination centre.

Step 7: Download the admit card PDF and take a clear printout for use on the examination day.

Step 8: Carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre.
