Eligibility CriteriaDetails
NationalityThe Candidate Must Be A Citizen Of India.
Minimum Age Limit21 Years As On 1st August Of The Exam Year (2026).
Maximum Age LimitAs Per The Norms Set By The Department Of Personnel, Administrative Reforms And Rajbhasha, Jharkhand.
Age Relaxation1. Maximum 9 Years One-Time Relaxation (Because The Last Exam Was Held In 2016).

2. For Working Para Teachers: Maximum Age Relaxed Up To 58 Years.

Educational Qualification (For Level 1: Class 1 To 5)1. 12th Pass With 50% Marks And 2-Year Diploma In Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). OR

2. 12th Pass With 45% Marks And 2-Year D.El.Ed (As Per NCTE 2002 Norms). OR

3. 12th Pass With 50% Marks And 4-Year Bachelor Of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

4. Graduation And 2-Year D.El.Ed.

Educational Qualification (For Level 2: Class 6 To 8)1. Graduation And 2-Year D.El.Ed. OR

2. Graduation With 50% Marks And 1-Year/2-Year B.Ed. OR

3. 12th Pass With 50% Marks And 4-Year B.El.Ed / B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. OR

4. Post Graduation With 55% Marks And 3-Year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

Marks Relaxation In Qualifying Degree5% Relaxation In Minimum Qualifying Marks For SC, ST, BC-1, BC-2, PwD, And PVGT Categories.
