Preparation Tips

  • Capitalize on the Absence of Negative Marking: A massive advantage in this examination is that there is no penalty for wrong answers. Your strategy should involve attempting every single question. Ensure you leave no question unanswered, utilizing educated guesses if you are unsure before your sectional time runs out.
  • Master Sectional Time Management: There are strict sectional timings within the overall 120 minutes. You cannot jump between sections freely. For instance, you must complete 60 Logical Reasoning questions in just 40 minutes, which demands high speed, whereas you have 25 minutes to answer 60 General Awareness questions. Practice mock tests strictly adhering to these exact time limits.
  • Target Minimum Sectional Scores: You are required to obtain a minimum score in each section of the Online Test, as well as secure a minimum total aggregate score to be shortlisted. Do not neglect any single subject, as failing to meet the cut-off in even one section will disqualify you from the interview phase.
  • Prioritize High-Weightage Sections: Logical Reasoning/Data Analysis and General/Economy/Banking Awareness carry the highest weightage, with 60 questions and 60 marks each. Focus heavily on current banking trends, the economy, and IT fundamentals, as these will yield quick marks within the short 25-minute window allotted for that section.
  • Prepare Your Interview Documentation Early: The Personal Interview (PI) carries 100 marks, and the final merit list relies on a formula combining $3/4$ of your Online Test score and $1/4$ of your PI score. Candidates must bring a very specific, detailed experience certificate on their organization’s letterhead, legibly signed by the HR department with clear contact details. Begin gathering these documents well in advance, as failure to produce this exact certificate will result in being barred from the interview
