Application Fee and Process

Salary
These are Group 'C' jobs. The salary is set by the 7th Pay Commission.
- Pay Band: ₹5,200 – ₹20,200
- Grade Pay: ₹1,900
- Pay Level: Level-2
- In-Hand Salary: After adding all benefits (like Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance), your starting salary will be around ₹27,000 to ₹30,000 per month. After deductions (like for your pension plan), you will likely get ₹25,000 to ₹28,000 in your bank account each month.
Selection Process
- PET 2022 Score: First, UPSSSC chose candidates for the main exam based on their PET 2022 scores.
- Main Written Exam: This is the 100-mark test on November 9, 2025.
- Physical Tests (PST & PET): If you pass the written exam, you will be called for physical tests. They will check your height/chest (PST) and your fitness (PET). You must pass these, but your score here doesn't count towards the final rank.
- Document Verification (DV): After passing the physical tests, you'll show all your original documents (like mark sheets and certificates).
- Medical Exam: A final check to make sure you are medically fit for the job.
Your final selection is based only on your score in the Main Written Exam.
