Main Examination Fee:
This ₹25 fee is just for processing the online application. Candidates who are picked for the Main Exam must pay a different Main Exam Fee. They must pay this before they can download their admit card.
Application Process
This notice has two different ways to apply:
- For PET-2023 Candidates: These candidates will apply. They will log in using their PET-2023 Registration Number.
- For the 2384 Special Candidates: These candidates must not use the normal PET login. First, they must get a Temporary PET Registration Number (T.P.E.T. Registration Number). They get this from a special 'Lateral Entry' link on the UPSSSC website. After getting this T.P.E.T. number, they will use it to log in and fill out the main application.
To get the T.P.E.T. number, these 2384 candidates will need to:
- Go to the 'Lateral Entry' link on the UPSSSC website.
- Prove who they are using details from their 2013 exam. This includes Registration Number, Roll Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, and their registered Mobile Number.
- Fill in their personal and education details.
- Upload their newest photo and signature.
- Submit the form to get their unique T.P.E.T. Registration Number.
Salary (Pay Scale)
The pay details for the Technical Assistant Group-C job are:
- Pay Band: 5200-20200
- Grade Pay: 2400/-
- Revised Pay Matrix: Level-4 (₹25,500 - ₹81,100)
Selection Process
The way people are chosen for these jobs is based only on a Written Main Examination.
How to get picked for the Main Exam:
- PET-2023 Candidates: People will be picked based on their PET-2023 score. The commission will pick 15 times the number of jobs available (for each category). All candidates who have the same cut-off score (up to two decimal points) will be included.
- 2384 Special Candidates: The 2384 candidates who apply using the special 'Lateral Entry' (T.P.E.T.) way will be allowed to take the Main Exam directly. They will not be shortlisted based on a score.
- Important Note: What if one of the 2384 special candidates also has a PET-2023 score? If they choose to apply using their PET-2023 number (and not the T.P.E.T. number), they will lose their special rule. They will be shortlisted just like all other PET-2023 candidates.
