यह परीक्षा इंजीनियरों को भारत सरकार के बड़े-बड़े विभागों में नौकरी पाने का मौका देती है। इसमें सफल होने वाले उम्मीदवार ग्रुप ए और ग्रुप बी के पदों पर नियुक्त होते हैं, जो काफी प्रतिष्ठित होते हैं। इस पद के लिए आवेदन 26 सितंबर 2025 से शुरू हो चुके है और 16 अक्टूबर 2025 तक आवेदन कर सकते है। जो भी योग्य उम्मीदवार हैं, उन्हें इस समय के अंदर ही अपना आवेदन कर देना चाहिए।

जो भी उम्मदीवार इस पद के लिए आवेदन करना चाहते है उन्हें इस बात की जानकारी होनी चाहिए कि UPSC के द्वारा Engineering Services के लिए कितने पद निकाले है | आयोग के द्वारा Total 474 पदों पर भर्ती के लिए Notification जारी कर दिया है | ये vacancy Change भी हो सकती है |

UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026: Eligibilty

UPSC ESE का आवेदन करने से पहले उम्मीदवार को आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित किये गए मापदंडो को पूरा करना जरुरी है मापदंड जैसे Educational qualification , Age , Nationality आदि | इन सब मापदंडों की जानकारी नीचे दी गयी है :

Nationality :

उम्मीदवार भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए |
नेपाल या भूटान के नागरिक भी आवेदन कर सकते है |
Tibetan refugee जो 1 January 1962 से पहले India आया हो |
Indian Origin का नागरिक जो Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia आदि देशों से भारत में रहने के लिए आया हो |

Age : किसी भी उम्मीदवार को इस पद पर आवेदन करने के लिए Minimum 21 साल का होना चाहिए , और Maximum Age 30 Years होनी चाहिए | कुछ वर्गों के लिए अधिकतम Age में छूट का प्रावधान भी किया गया है जो इस प्रकार है : As on 1st January 2026

Educational Qualification : उम्मीदवार को इस पद के आवेदन करने के लिए आयोग द्वारा दी गयी अलग अलग Educational Qualifications को पूरा करना होगा | निम्न Qualification में से कोई भी एक Qualification होनी चाहिए :

उम्मीदवार के पास B.Tech ( Bachelor of Technology) की डिग्री होनी चाहिए |
Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) का Section A और Section B पास होना चाहिए |
Degree/Diploma In Engineering from a foreign University जो कि भारत सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त है |
Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) पास होना चाहिए |
For the post of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Group ‘A’, Candidate को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त University/Institution से M.Sc. degree with Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject प्राप्त होनी चाहिए |

UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026: Application fee and process

Application fee : UPSC ESE 2026 के पद पर आवेदन करने के लिए शुल्क भी जमा किया जाता है जो कि सिर्फ Online Medium (Debit Card /Credit Card/Net Banking) से जमा करा सकते है | इसके लिए कोई Offline Medium नहीं है |

Application Process : इस पद के लिए Apply करने के लिए निम्न Steps को Follow करना चाहिए :

सबसे पहले उम्मीदवार को आयोग की Official Website (https://www.upsc.gov.in/) पर जाएं।
उम्मीदवार को New Account Create करने के बाद Universal Registration Number (URN) प्राप्त होगा |
UNR सिर्फ एक बार करना होता है |
Photo और Signature Upload करने के बाद Form Fill करें |
Photograph 10 दिन से पुराना नहीं होना चाहिए और Three fourth (¾) Space cover करना चाहिए |
पूरा फॉर्म भरने के बाद Final Submit करके प्रिंट निकाल लें |

UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026: Salary

UPSC ESE के पद पर जो भी उम्मीदवार नियुक्त होते हैं उन्हें Central Government द्वारा निर्धारित वेतन दिया जाता है | इसका Grade Pay 5400 होता है | Salary के साथ - साथ सरकार के द्वारा Dearness Allowances (DA), Travel Allowances (TA), और House Rent Allowances (HRA) भी दिया जाता है |

UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2026: Preparation Tips

तैयारी शुरू करने से पहले, Prelims और Mains Exam दोनों के Syllabus को अच्छी तरह से समझें। इससे आपको पता चलेगा कि किन विषयों पर ज्यादा ध्यान देना है।
अपनी पढ़ाई के लिए एक Daily टाइम टेबल बनाएं। इसमें हर विषय को Proper Time दें और Revision का भी Time रखें ।
