UP Police ASI Direct Recruitment 2023 : Typing Test Details

उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस भर्ती एवं Promotion बोर्ड (UPPRPB) द्वारा UP पुलिस ASI सीधी भर्ती 2023 के अंतर्गत SI (Confidential), ASI (Clerk) और ASI (Accounts) पदों के लिए Computer Typing टेस्ट आयोजित किया जा रहा है। जिन Candidates ने लिखित परीक्षा Qualify की है, उन्हें यह Typing टेस्ट देना अनिवार्य है। यह परीक्षा 21 और 22 फरवरी 2026 को लखनऊ एवं Prayagraj में आयोजित होगी। Typing test से संबंधित Admit कार्ड, परीक्षा की तिथि , Venue और Instructions बोर्ड की अधिकारिक Website https://uppbpb.gov.in पर Online जारी किए जाएंगे । Candidates को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे नियमित रूप से Website चेक करते रहें और सभी निर्देशों का पालन करें।

इस परीक्षा को तीन मुख्य भागों में Divide किया जा सकता है: अभ्यास Dictation, मुख्य Dictation, और Transcription (अनुवाद) |

Step By Step Process:

Practice Session
  • Before the main examination, to reduce nervousness, the board will provide two trial dictations of 2 minutes each. Candidates must write these in the shorthand notebook. This session is only to understand the audio quality and speaker’s voice.
Main Dictation
  • A continuous dictation of 5 minutes will be given at the speed of 80 words per minute, totaling 400 words. Candidates must write the dictation in the shorthand notebook provided by the board and submit the notebook at the venue.
Review & Transcription
  • Immediately after the dictation, candidates will be given 40 minutes. During this time, they must review their shorthand notes and type the transcription in Hindi on the computer.

UP SI/ASI Typing Test : Evaluation & Error Margin 

सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि आपकी Shorthand Notebook की जाँच तो होगी, लेकिन उसका Evaluation नहीं  होगा | यानी, आपने Shorthand के सिंबल कैसे बनाए है, इस पर नंबर नहीं कटेंगे | Evaluation केवल आपके द्वारा कंप्यूटर पर टाइप किये गए हिंदी का Matter करेगा|

UP SI/ASI Typing Test: Important Guidelines

Keyboard
  • Hindi typing will be done only on Unicode in script keyboard. If you are practicing on Remington Gail, switch immediately to Unicode in script.
Hardware
  • The computer keyboard will be provided by the agency at the exam center. Candidates are not allowed to bring their own keyboard.
Signature
  • After the examination, it is mandatory to write your name, roll number, and signature on the shorthand notebook. If this is not done, your copy will not be evaluated.

UP SI/ASI Typing Test: Calculation of Errors
