UPSI Exam Pattern
The UP SI written exam is designed to test your mental aptitude, general knowledge, and language skills. The exam will likely be held in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode or a Hybrid mode.

Selection Process

- Male Candidates: 4.8 km run in 28 minutes.

Process to Download Admit Card

- Click on the link and you will go to a login page.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (DOB).
- Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen and click ‘Submit’.
- Your Admit Card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a clear printout (color is better) for later use.
Shift Timings and City Centres
Since the exam is held over two days (Saturday and Sunday), it is expected to be held in multiple shifts to handle the large number of candidates.
- Shift 1 (Morning): Expected around 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
- Shift 2 (Afternoon/Evening): Expected around 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
Exam Centres: Major cities across Uttar Pradesh will be exam hubs. These include Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Varanasi, Meerut, Agra, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, and Noida. Your specific center will be given based on your choice and availability.
Important Documents to Carry
On exam day, you must bring specific documents to the center. Without these, you might not be allowed inside:
- Admit Card: Hard copy of the downloaded e-Admit Card.
- Original Photo ID: Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport. (Make sure the name matches the Admit Card).
- Passport Size Photographs: Carry 2 recent passport-sized color photos (same as the ones you uploaded in the application form).
- Ballpoint Pen: Blue or Black ballpoint pen (if the exam is OMR based or for rough work in CBT).
Instructions for Candidates
- Reporting Time: Reach the exam center at least 60 to 90 minutes before the exam starts. Gates usually close 30 minutes before the start time.
- Prohibited Items: Do not carry mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, or any study material inside the exam hall.
- Biometric Verification: Work with the staff for biometric checking (fingerprint/iris scan) at the center.
- Read Instructions: Read the instructions on the computer screen or question booklet carefully before starting.

What Next After the Exam
