The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released the written examination schedule for various Exams . These exams will be conducted in January 2026 for vacancies in the Jail Department, Defence Welfare Department, and Punjab Bhawan.

Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The selection generally involves a Written Exam followed by a Physical Test or Typing Test, depending on the post.

Process to Download Admit Card
Admit cards will not be sent by post. Follow these steps to download:
- Visit Official Website: Go to the PSSSB official site.
- Navigate to Advertisements: Click on the “Advertisements” tab or look for the “Admit Card” link under the “Current News” section.
- Select Your Exam: Click on the link for “Admit Card for Advt No. 04, 06, 07 of 2025”.
- Enter Details:
- Enter your Application Number (Username).
- Enter your Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) or Mobile Number.
- Download: Click “Submit” to view your admit card.
- Print: Save the PDF and take two printouts for the exam day.
Shift Timings & City Centres
- Exam Centres: The exact venue will be mentioned on your admit card. Centres are usually located in major districts like Chandigarh, Mohali (SAS Nagar), Jalandhar, Patiala, Ludhiana, etc.
- Shift Timings:
- Morning Shift: Generally 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Entry closes by 9:30 AM).
- Evening Shift: Generally 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Entry closes by 1:30 PM).
- Check your specific admit card for the confirmed reporting time.
