Full Information about Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025

1. Introduction

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the official notice for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET), 2025. This test is a great opportunity for people who want to become teachers in the government schools of Bihar. The STET is not a job recruitment exam; it is an eligibility test. This means that if you pass this test, you will get a certificate that makes you eligible to apply for teacher jobs in Bihar. The main purpose of the STET is to find qualified and skilled candidates for teaching secondary (Class 9 and 10) and higher secondary (Class 11 and 12) students.

The examination is divided into two parts: Paper I for secondary teachers and Paper II for higher secondary teachers. Candidates can choose to appear for one or both papers based on their qualifications. Passing this exam is a necessary step to become a teacher in Bihar’s government schools.
