Preparation Tips
- Since the final merit list is based only on Session-II (General Awareness and English), you must give these subjects high priority. However, you still need to qualify in Session-I to have your Session-II checked.
- There is no negative marking in Session-I, so you should answer all questions there. However, be very careful in Session-II because one mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
- Taking regular practice tests will help you manage the 45-minute time limit well.
- The syllabus is based on 10th-grade levels. Make sure your basic knowledge of Math and English grammar is strong.
Admit Card
- Admission Certificates (Admit Cards) for the Computer-Based Examination will be issued online on the Commission’s websites.
- You will be able to download the Admission Certificate about 2-3 days before the exam.
- Details regarding the time table and the City/Centre of the exam will be uploaded about 10 days before the exam date.
- Candidates must bring a printout of the Admission Certificate, two passport-size color photos, and an original valid Photo-ID proof to the exam hall.
Result
- There is no option for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores. Requests regarding this will not be accepted.
- Marks scored by candidates will be normalized if the exam takes place in multiple shifts.
- The final result will be published on the official website. For MTS, separate cut-offs will be set for different States/UTs and age groups. For Havaldar, results depend on qualifying the PET/PST.
