SSC MTS 2024: Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The SSC MTS Exam 2024 consisted of two key stages :
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The SSC MTS 2024 Exam was conducted in two sessions, with multiple-choice
questions (MCQs).
Session 1:
● Numerical & Mathematical Ability – 20 Questions (60 Marks)
● Reasoning Ability & Problem Solving – 20 Questions (60 Marks)
Session 2:
● General Awareness – 25 Questions (75 Marks)
● English Language & Comprehension – 25 Questions (75 Marks)
Duration: 45 minutes per session (Total: 90 minutes)
Negative Marking :
● No negative marking in Session 1
● 1 mark deduction per wrong answer in Session 2
2. Physical Test (Only for Havaldar Post)
Candidates who applied for the Havaldar post had to qualify for a Physical Efficiency
Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) in addition to the written exam.
PET Requirements :
● Male Candidates: 1600 meters run in 15 minutes, and weight lifting (3.5 kg).
● Female Candidates: 1 km run in 20 minutes, and weight lifting (3 kg).
