Retaliate- to react to something unpleasant that somebody does to you

React- to do or say something because of something that has happened or been said

Clap- to hit your hands together many times, usually to show that you like something

Facilitate- to make something possible or easier

Rotate- to turn in circles round a central point

Avert- to prevent something unpleasant

Prevent- to stop something happening or to stop somebody doing something

Permit- to allow somebody to do something or to allow something to happen

Confront- to stand in front of somebody because you want to fight him/her

Face- to deal with somebody in a difficult situation

Urge- to advise or try hard to persuade somebody to do something

Appeal- to make a serious request for something you need or want very much

Reply- to say, write or do something as an answer to somebody/something

Refuse- to say or show that you do not want to do, give, or accept something

Protest- a statement or action that shows that you do not like or approve of something

Implicate- to show that somebody is involved in something unpleasant, especially a crime

Correlate - to have or to show a relationship or connection between two or more things

Mourn - to feel and show great sadness, especially because somebody has died

Revel - enjoy oneself in a lively and noisy way

Appreciate - to understand the value of somebody / something

Rejoice - to feel or show great happiness
