320 ml of mixture ‘A’ contains milk and water in the ratio of 5:3, respectively is mixed with 220 ml of mixture ‘B’ containing milk and water in the ratio of 8:3, respectively. Find the ratio of milk to water in the resultant mixture.

Question 2:

The sum of cost price and marked price of an article is ₹6000 while the sum of cost price and selling price of the article is ₹4200. If 50% discount was offered on marked price then find the cost price of the article.

एक वस्तु के क्रय मूल्य और अंकित मूल्य का योग ₹6000 है जबकि वस्तु के क्रय मूल्य और विक्रय मूल्य का योग ₹4200 है यदि अंकित मूल्य पर 50% की छूट दी जाती है तो वस्तु का क्रय मूल्य ज्ञात कीजिए।

Question 3:

A certain number is first increased by 45%, then decreased by 20% and then again increased by 20%. If difference between the original and the final number is 98, then find the original number.

एक निश्चित संख्या में पहले 45% की वृद्धि की जाती है, फिर 20% की कमी की जाती है और फिर 20% की वृद्धि की जाती है। यदि मूल और अंतिम संख्या के बीच का अंतर 98 है, तो वास्तविक संख्या ज्ञात कीजिए।

Question 4:

12 years hence from now, ratio of ages of ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be 13:18, respectively. If age of ‘B’ 6 years ago was 50% more than age of ‘A’ 4 years ago, then find the ratio of ages of ‘A’ and ‘B, respectively 10 years hence from now.

अब से 12 वर्ष बाद, 'A' और 'B' की आयु का अनुपात क्रमशः 13:18 होगा। यदि 6 वर्ष पहले 'B' की आयु 4 वर्ष पहले 'A' की आयु से 50% अधिक थी, तो अब से 10 वर्ष बाद 'A' और 'B' की आयु का क्रमशः अनुपात ज्ञात कीजिए।

Question 5:

‘A’ and ‘B’ entered into a business with initial investments of ₹1240 and ₹1360, respectively. After 1 year, ‘A’ added ₹520 more while ‘B’ withdrew ₹720. If total profit at the end of 2 years is ₹2000, then profit share of ‘A’ will be:

480 pizzas and 340 burgers were sold, out of which(x + 20) pizzas and (x – 80) burgers were veg and rest non-veg. If the number of non-veg pizzas and burgers sold are in the ratio 8:7, respectively then find the value of ‘x’.

Question 7:

In an election between two candidates all the voters cast their votes while 20% of the total votes are declared invalid. If the winner got 45% of the total votes and won by 1200 votes then find total number of voters.

दो उम्मीदवारों के बीच एक चुनाव में सभी मतदाताओं ने अपने मत डाले जबकि कुल मतों का 20% अवैध घोषित कर दिया गया। यदि विजेता को कुल मतों का 45% प्राप्त होता है और वह 1200 मतों से जीता है, तो मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या ज्ञात कीजिए।
