Question 2:

Ratio of present ages of ‘A’ and ‘B’ is 3:7 respectively. Age of ‘B’ after 40 years will be 3 times more than the present age of ‘A’. Find ratio of their ages after 8 years. Question 4:

There are 20 inlet and (2x – 4) outlet pipes attached to the Tala tank. Each inlet pipe takes 40 hours to fill the tank and each outlet pipe empties the fully filled tank in 30 hours. If all the pipes are opened together, the tank gets filled in 30 hours. Find the value of ‘x’. ताला टैंक से 20 इनलेट और (2x - 4) आउटलेट पाइप जुड़े हुए हैं। प्रत्येक इनलेट पाइप टैंक को भरने में 40 घंटे का समय लेता है और प्रत्येक आउटलेट पाइप पूरी तरह से भरे हुए टैंक को 30 घंटे में खाली कर देता है। यदि सभी पाइपों को खोल दिया जाए, तो टैंक 30 घंटे में भर जाती है। ‘x’ का मान ज्ञात करें।

The income of ‘A’ is ₹48000 out of which he spends 75%. By how much amount his income should be increased/decreased so that his savings becomes 20% of his income. The expenditure is same in both cases.
