Eligibility Criteria
Education
- You must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or an equivalent exam from a recognized board by 01 August 2025.
- For the post of Constable (Transport) candidates should have Light Motor Vechile (LMV) / Heavy Motor Vechile ( (HMV) Driving Licence.

Application Fee and Process
- General / EWS / EBC / BC: ₹100
- SC / ST / Transgender (Bihar residents): ₹100
Applications can only be submitted online at the CSBC website.
Steps:
- Register with a valid mobile number and email.
- Fill in personal and educational details.
- Upload a scanned photo and signature.
- Pay the fee via net banking, debit card, or credit card.
- Submit and print your acknowledgment for future use.
Salary
- Bihar Police Constable (most departments): ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Pay Level 3)
- Transport Constable: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Pay Level 2)
Selection Process
You have to clear all stages:
- Written Test (OMR based)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Document Verification / Medical Test
You must pass each stage to be in the final merit list.
Exam Pattern
